Shop Dada – The Cornershop That Built Us

Shop Dada – The Cornershop That Built Us is a documentary currently in post-production, with the goal of completion by January 2026. This project is funded by Filmhub North, following the success of my short film Shop Dada, which won the Filmmaker Challenge at Sheffield DocFest.

The film explores the story of my family’s corner shop and its impact on our community, blending personal history with the wider narrative of everyday lives and cultural connections. I am actually in this film, trying something new.
