Darshan Gajjar

Ravi is the first short film I have written and directed, inspired by true events from my experiences as a British-born South Asian growing up in Grantham, one of the least diverse areas in the UK. The story delves into the challenges of cultural identity, belonging, and the impact of racism in a predominantly white town.

We held the premiere for the film on the 25th October 2024, it was a fantastic success and sparked meaningful conversations around culture, identity, and the realities of prejudice. I’m deeply grateful to everyone who supported the making of this film—it means so much.
