I shot a film on super 8mm in India

This film feels bittersweet.

My grandad passed away today and at the same time, I received these developed super 8 video files from the lab. I felt the need to get this film out today and dedicate it to him. I’m grateful that we were able to see him recently, and while he was well and able to see us too.

The last time I visited was when I was ten for my grandma's passing. I used to hate going to India, the smell, the heat, the humidity - it was all uncommon for me. Now I feel a lot more connected and grateful for that side of me and I feel blessed to have gone again, especially now.

Shooting a Run-And-Gun Campervan Commercial!

After postponing a previous shoot with Clock Off, we found ourselves returning with a lot better than we would have had. It was absolutely gorgeous, it couldn’t have been better! We took to a local pub in Grantham called ‘The Dirty Duck’ (yeah I know). Shot at the campsite and then ventured around shooting in other local areas. One issue we had throughout the days, were the cars. We had one car shutdown fully with a break issue. A few hours later, one of our cars had a tire puncture.
